At the July CAC meeting the subject of FAA comment on the Table Mountain wind generation project came up. Attached is a letter from September 2006 where the FAA makes the determination that the proposed construction would not have an impact on air navigation.
Sandy Valley Citizens Advisory Council
Options for Sandy Valley
At the March 2007 Citizens Advisory Council meeting Clark County Rural Towns Liaison Chris Muhnall give a presentation on the different forms of government for towns in Clark County. Mr. Munhall's presentation, which is attached below, includes discussion of the different forms of town governance in Clark County including unincorporated area, unincorporated town and incorporated city. In addition to outlining the requirements for each the presentation covers examples of the revenue possible from each of the various forms of town governance.
Minutes of the January 9 meeting of the Sandy Valley Citizens' Advisory Council

Proposed bylaws for Sandy Valley CAC
Each two-year term of the Sandy Valley Citizens' Advisory Council brings a new board and with it a chance to review and refine the bylaws under which the board operates. The proposed 2007-2009 bylaws were discussed at the board's January 9 meeting and will be discussed and voted on at the board's February 13 meeting. 2007-2008 Sandy Valley Citizens Advisory Council Appointed
The Board of County Commissioners for Clark County voted on Tuesday to appoint the Sandy Valley Citizen's Advisory Council for the 2007-2008 term. Five community members will represent the community on the council. Appointed to the council are:

Town Hall Meeting in Sandy Valley
Clark County Commissioner for District F, Lynette Boggs McDonald, will be coming to Sandy Valley for a town hall meeting Thursday, February 23, 2006 at 6:30 PM. The agenda for discussion will be the following:
- Roads
- Pave Osage from Quartz to Onyx.
- What is needed for private homeowners to prepare their roads so they can dedicate the roads to the County and have the County maintain those roads?
- What is being done to pave or continually maintain the gravel on Stateline Road?
- What is being done to pave Jade from Kingston Road to Mojave? What can we do to help get this project done?
- Water
- What is the Commissioner doing to protect our water basin? What is being done about San Bernardino, Inyo and Clark County committee to keep our water basin closed? What is the recommendation on a Sandy Valley Water Board Committee?

- What is being done to keep Sandy Valley R-U zoned other than the current Master Plan?
